Our state examination results reflect our commitment to excellence in teaching and learning and the achievement of high academic standards. The achievements of our past pupils have been exceptional and there is every reason to believe that this will continue into the future. We are proud that our participation and successes in co-curricular and extra-curricular areas which, combined with academic excellence, produce the well-rounded and balanced student. The staff in Ardscoil Phádraig aim to provide a supportive environment where every student is encouraged to achieve their potential. The atmosphere in Ardscoil Phádraig has always been a happy one, which is conducive to the academic, social and spiritual development of all pupils in our care. The next academic year 2017/18 promises to be another exciting year with the opening of our two new beautiful Science laboratories offering the best science facilities available anywhere. We also have three permanent ASD classrooms completed for students in the autistic spectrum, catering for up to eighteen students. We look forward to serving the educational needs of the people of Granard and the wider hinterland and wish continued success to our pupils, teachers and parents in all areas of life. As partners in education we should see education as the way forward for our country at this time in our history. Parents are actively encouraged to discuss their children’s progress with the Principal/Deputy Principal throughout the year.

“Knowledge is power. Information is liberating. Education is the premise of progress, in every society, in every family” Kofi Annan.
