Principal’s Statement

A warm welcome to those of you joining us at Ardscoil Phádraig for the first time. We hope your stay here will be both fulfilling and enjoyable. Ardscoil Phádraig is a fully-inclusive school embracing a holistic approach to education. While continued expansion and development is bringing technological advances and increased facilities, our school still retains its warm and personal nature where we get to know our students well and can target individual student needs.

We constantly strive to provide best practice in education for all students attending our school. We have a highly-qualified committed staff, who are consigned to work together with parents to help our students achieve their best potential in education.

Achievements and participation are celebrated and facilitated not alone in the academic area but in the broad spectrum of extra-curricular activities that we offer. We actively encourage all of our students to participate fully in school life, from becoming class representatives to joining school teams and clubs.

For those of you returning, we hope that you enjoyed the summer and trust that you are well-rested in preparation for the new academic year. We will work together to make 2014/15 a memorable and successful year for everyone in our school community and trust that each one of you will endeavour to take advantage of all the opportunities that will be presented to you during the year. Remember, education is a must for a promising and secure future and a stable life.

“Education is the power to think clearly, the power to act well in the world’s work, and the power to appreciate life. ”
