Study Skills

Last week, we welcomed Michael Bond to the school for a seminar on study skills for third year and sixth year students. These workshops were very worthwhile, with our students picking up invaluable skills. These skills will stand to them not only in the next few weeks as the mocks approach, but throughout their education in the coming years.

Practical Projects

Leaving Certificate DCG students have now completed their practical projects which are worth 40% of their final mark. Well done to all.

Blue Friday

Friday 26th January was Blue Friday at Ardscoil Phádraig. There was a non-uniform day, where all staff and students wore blue, a raffle and a bake sale. All funds raised will benefit the autism unit in the school. It was a fantastic success. Well done to all involved.

Project Maths for Parents

Project Maths classes for parents are set to resume on Wednesday 31st January at 7pm. Classes will run for two hours each evening and will take place here at the school. For further information, please contact Ms Reilly.

We are asking all readers to keep an eye out for the blue token collection for our Autism unit in Tesco, Longford. All money raised will go towards some much-needed equipment for the unit. Thank you for your continued support.
